When Women Unite Social was created 3 years ago to uplift, encourage, and empower women while giving back to our community. Each year I host two of the socials. The 1st one is in March on International Women’s Day and the 2nd one is in October in recognition of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault month. Two causes that are very dear and important to me.
As a little girl, I was always the daring one who would climb the trees, jump ditches, and play football with the boys. In my heart, I always wanted to be the first woman to dunk a basketball. You see that didn’t happen (lol) … I didn’t mind challenging any athletic physical barriers that were set for us a women.
As I moved through life, I’ve experienced a lot of trials. One thing I know is that what I’ve been through has only created an even more burning desire to help empower the next woman. My passion grew stronger to speak out on injustices as it pertains to women.
When we unite as women, there is a strong power in the unification; where we conquer, we succeed, we inspire, and we remove limits on what we can accomplish!
