Where there are children, then there are MOMS!! I attended the Biz Kids event in Columbia, Maryland where I met some the best Kidpreneurs and Momagers. The children that participated in the event had some of the coolest businesses. They were all well prepared and they articulated their business mission very well.To see the passion and light in their eyes about something they believe in, only reminded me that you should always believe in yourself and don’t ever be afraid to go after your dreams.
Each of the Kidpreneur’s businesses was entered into the competition where they had 1st and 2nd place prizes. The judges for the competition were local officials of the Maryland area. Last year’s overall winner started her on own scholarship fund for a child that is interested in the arts. That was very impressive and motivating. Age really doesn’t matter when it comes to your purpose. Some of the Momagers were actual Single Mom’s who were pushing their child to greater. It was so endearing to connect with them as we all share in the commonalty of Single Motherhood while pushing our children to be the best that they can be.
While I was there, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Kevin Craft, Administrative Director, Governor’s Office of Commission Initiatives. And I also gave my first interview with the Peace In The Morning Show hosted by Mr. Darius. Overall, I had another great time. I’m glad my son went with me to this event so he can be inspired as well.
